Maintenance Coordination (Robotics)

Location: On-site at HQ five days a week in Austin, Texas, United States. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules by robot and site, generate work orders, adjust schedules, and close completed work orders.
• Scope work orders with required steps, labor estimates, parts, tools, and site access notes.
• Track work-order status, identify schedule risks, and keep templates, part numbers, and bills of materials current as hardware revisions roll out.
• Receive, inspect, store, and reconcile parts and consumables against purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, set spare-parts min/max levels, and raise reorder requests.
• Kit and ship parts and tools, process failed-part returns and vendor RMAs, and maintain an organized, safe depot with appropriate ESD and handling practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a storeroom, parts crib, warehouse, inventory control, or maintenance support role.
• Hands-on experience with an inventory or work-order system such as CMMS, ERP, or WMS, including creating records, issuing parts, and closing transactions.
• Mechanical and electrical literacy sufficient to read bills of materials, identify components, and discuss jobs with technicians.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent habit of keeping records accurate.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas, plus written communication through email and Slack.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand and walk for extended periods, and safely handle packaged robot subassemblies.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to work on-site at HQ five days a week.

Nice to have

• Exposure to maintenance planning or scheduling, or interest in growing into maintenance planning.
• Experience shipping and receiving with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and handling vendor RMAs.
• Experience with robotics, medical devices, industrial equipment, or another field-serviced hardware fleet.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field.
