Off-Site Receiving Specialist (Contract)

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Salary: $27–$37 USD per hour

What you will do

• Process incoming shipments accurately and promptly in NetSuite.
• Ensure the 3PL provider follows receiving SOPs and communicate documentation, quantity, and damage discrepancies.
• Maintain revision-level inventory control and verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and physical counts.
• Investigate and clear missed-receipt backlogs to bring inventory records up to date.
• Log receiving issues in the internal error log and Slack channels, and communicate blockers.
• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse operations, and vendors to resolve errors and improve documentation processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system for inventory or receiving modules.
• Proficiency with Slack and spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes, including revision-level tracking.
• Persistent, solution-oriented problem-solving skills and the ability to obtain answers from internal and external partners.
• High administrative accuracy and strong attention to detail.
