Inventory Manager

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, beverages, merchandise, promotional materials, and retail products across warehouses, retail, co-packers, 3PLs, and fulfillment sites.
• Manage inventory movements, receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns, stock status changes, and discrepancy resolution, including the end-to-end returns workflow.
• Own Acumatica inventory workflows, cycle counts, physical inventory processes, adjustment entries, committed inventory allocation, and Inventory Record Accuracy reporting.
• Set safety stock levels and support demand forecasting, production planning, replenishment, transfers, and daily and weekly order calculations.
• Build dashboards, automated alerts, exception reports, inventory projections, KPI reporting, and COGS-related reporting with Finance.
• Coordinate with Production, Compliance, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Logistics, Marketing, event stakeholders, co-packers, and 3PL partners; create SOPs and training materials and initially manage an Inventory Coordinator.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, inventory control, or inventory accounting, ideally in CPG, cannabis/hemp, food and beverage, or another physical-goods environment.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP/MRP system such as Acumatica, Katana, NetSuite, or similar, including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and allocation of committed inventory.
• Comfort with lot/batch tracking and traceability requirements.
• Experience managing cycle count and physical inventory programs across multiple locations, including warehouse, retail, and 3PL sites.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including building reports and dashboards from inventory data.
• Experience coordinating with 3PLs and/or co-packers and managing related data and communication gaps.
• Sharp analytical skills, root-cause investigation ability, strong cross-functional communication, and the ability to translate inventory issues for warehouse, retail, finance, and leadership stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a constantly changing daily environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in cannabis, hemp, or another regulated CPG industry.
• Experience supporting a company opening a new facility and separating raw materials/production inventory from finished goods inventory.
• Experience building SOPs or training materials for inventory processes.
• Exposure to demand planning, S&OP, or seasonal and peak-season logistics planning.
• Experience managing or supporting marketplace inventory alongside DTC and retail channels.
