Inventory Control Technician III

Location: Lakewood, CO, United States; on-site.

Base compensation: $22–$27.46 per hour, plus an annual 10% bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Oversee daily inventory operations, maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Analyze inventory trends, performance metrics, and turnover rates to improve processes, reduce costs, and optimize stock levels.
• Supervise receiving, verify goods against purchase orders, inspect quality, and coordinate accurate and timely shipping with logistics.
• Generate inventory performance reports, investigate discrepancies, and provide improvement recommendations to management.
• Lead inventory control best-practice initiatives and collaborate with purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and other cross-functional teams.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, support performance evaluations, resolve complex issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or related roles, with a proven record of managing complex inventory systems.
• Proficiency in advanced inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, use computers and operating equipment, bend, reach, pick up or move items, occasionally lift and carry 25–75 pounds, and climb ladders or use elevated platforms.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, noisy environments, and areas with dust, dirt, airborne particles, or potential exposure to hazardous materials while following safety standards.
