Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; hybrid model with 60% in-office and 40% remote work.

Salary: CAD 80,500–100,500 per year, plus bonus potential.

What you will do

• Prepare customer, brand, trade, commission, and corporate reporting, comparing actuals with forecasts, plans, budgets, and prior year.
• Analyze profitability, volume, price, mix, trade spend, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain forecasts and support monthly integrated business planning, customer reviews, and sales management reviews.
• Execute trade controls, support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, investigate exceptions, and prepare trade and balance sheet review materials.
• Compile annual and strategic plans, build financial schedules, model customer, brand, channel, innovation, and commercial scenarios, and support business cases.
• Complete month-end activities, investigate reporting anomalies, maintain finance tools, and improve trade planning and Sales Finance workflows.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role involving financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, or accounting.
• Post-secondary degree in business, commerce, finance, or a similar field.

Nice to have

• Consumer Packaged Goods or fast-moving Consumer Goods experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn financial and trade planning systems such as SAP.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and business partnership skills.
• Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to develop customer, category, and commercial knowledge.
