Financial Analyst

Location: hirify.global Place, 181 Bay Street, Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite at the head office.

Salary: CAD 75,000–90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare quarterly consolidated financial forecasts, support annual budgets and long-term planning, and track global operating results.
• Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying operational and financial variance drivers.
• Maintain financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, headcount, and other financial data.
• Assist with consolidated financial statements, MD&A, public reporting documents, note disclosures, management reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations.
• Coordinate with operating business groups and support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance.
• Participate in ERP implementation, finance transformation, process improvement, investor relations, treasury, capital markets, and other ad hoc initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in Business or Finance.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in finance, public accounting, accounting functions, or a related field.
• Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.
• Leadership, interpersonal, communication, organizational, self-motivation, and proactive workload-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels and departments in a complex, dynamic, and fast-paced organization while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to support the team and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Completed or working toward a recognized professional accounting designation, such as CPA.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Excel with AI, VBA, and Macros.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle HFM, OneStream, and Workiva.
