Senior Electrical Engineer (RFID)

Location: Full-time, on-site in Miamisburg, Ohio, United States.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design new products from initial concept through mass production, balancing multiple projects and priorities.
• Develop portable and industrial thermal barcode printers, RFID solutions, wireless products, accessories, and services.
• Contribute to conceptual design, technical design reviews, architectural planning, and milestone management.
• Present design information and collaborate with corporate technical, manufacturing, marketing, internal, and external resources.
• Provide technical support for existing printer product lines, including manufacturing yield and field quality issues.
• Evaluate alternative electronic components to address supply chain disruptions and component obsolescence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Mastery of electrical engineering best practices, advanced circuit modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, analysis tools, and laboratory practices.
• Advanced electrical circuit design experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Mentor Graphics or Altium tools.
• Experience with global regulatory approvals and maintenance for EMC and Safety.
• Competence with oscilloscopes, data collectors, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to independently initiate and implement goal-oriented tasks, strategies, and techniques.
• Ability to foster a collaborative team culture and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Mixed signal circuit design experience.
• Technical experience with RFID, SPI, I2C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, analog circuits, power circuits, precision motor drive circuits, and thermal printhead control logic.
