Operational Excellence Program Manager

Location: United States; hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week from an HPE office. Salary information specifies Texas.

Salary: USD 105,500–243,000 annual base salary in Texas. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and manage operational excellence programs aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives improving productivity, processes, quality, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
• Establish program governance, metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and operational review cadences.
• Manage scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, communications, and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop business cases and measure realized business value from improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Customer Experience, and Business teams to institutionalize prevention-focused practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP certification is required.
• Typically 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, quality, continuous improvement, business transformation, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with business case development, benefit realization, change management, and organizational adoption.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, or related methodologies.
• Experience in technology, networking, hardware, software, services, or customer support organizations.
• Experience with lessons learned, quality, continuous improvement, or enterprise transformation programs.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
