Director, Solutions Engineering (Hospitality SaaS)

Location: Denver, CO; hybrid, with work from home or a global office available

Salary: $102,000–$130,000 per year plus bonus; $127,000–$162,000 OTE

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a global solutions engineering team across AMER, EMEA, and APAC; set priorities, coverage, performance standards, and team development plans.
• Support AMER field sales on enterprise hotel groups, management companies, and regional chains, including executive meetings, QBRs, discovery, and ROI-focused solution mapping.
• Own the global RFP and RFI process, including response strategy, bid quality, and turnaround.
• Define and maintain standards for solution design, scoping, configuration documentation, solution diagrams, statements of work, and delivery readiness.
• Build and evolve the Solutions Center, sales storytelling, and go-to-market approach for Business Intelligence, Benchmark Insight, and Parity Insight.
• Report on pipeline, bid reviews, forecasts, and team KPIs while connecting customer feedback with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in hospitality technology or SaaS, including leading a presales or solutions engineering team.
• Knowledge of the hotel commercial sector, including revenue management, distribution, benchmarking, and data analytics, plus understanding of RMS, PMS, CRS, and distribution technology.
• Understanding of integration methods, data transfer, security, solution architecture, and the ability to create clear solution diagrams.
• Experience leading RFP and RFI responses and large, complex deals, with the ability to estimate time and resources reliably.
• Understanding of SaaS and DaaS delivery models and the factors that make deals profitable and sustainable.
• Clear written and verbal communication with executives and industry experts, including the ability to explain complex ideas simply.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and results, with willingness to contribute hands-on.
• Ability to work across time zones and manage multiple priorities.

• Expert use of Salesforce.
• Experience with Looker or other business intelligence tools.
• Experience with hotel data, benchmarking, or market intelligence products.
