Senior Financial Reporting Manager (Healthcare)

Base compensation: $125,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual external financial reporting deliverables in compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB reporting standards.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly trend analyses and selected month-end close activities.
• Research complex transactions, including M&A, stock-based compensation, debt, leases, derivatives, non-revenue contracts, impairment analysis, and investments, and document the related accounting positions.
• Implement and monitor new accounting pronouncements affecting the financial statements.
• Coordinate audit planning, requests, and completion with external auditors.
• Maintain NetSuite chart of accounts and division structure, support internal controls, partner with general accounting, improve processes and tools, and develop financial reporting team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience, including public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field.
• CPA certification.
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, including researching accounting guidance, establishing accounting positions, and developing implementation processes and procedures.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• Experience mentoring and coaching team members on technical accounting topics.
• Experience leading people, delegating, prioritizing competing workstreams, and delivering quality work within tight time frames.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, solve problems, think critically, interpret data, make timely decisions, complete tasks independently, and follow established processes and protocols.
• Ability to provide a dedicated, secure work area, high-speed internet access, and an appropriate office setup.

Nice to have

• Workiva wDesk experience.
• Prior experience in a healthcare organization.
• Private equity reporting experience, including adjusted and pro forma EBITDA.
• Experience with NetSuite accounting systems, foreign currency, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience with FloQast or similar financial close and reconciliation tools.
