Consolidations & Financial Reporting Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States; hiring is currently available in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Hybrid and remote options are available for this role.

Annual base salary: $84,919–$117,942 USD, with geographic variation; eligible for an annual bonus or sales incentive plan and performance-based stock options.

What you will do

• Lead AI automation and adoption across accounting and reporting processes, including reconciliations, flux analysis, data aggregation, disclosure tie-outs, and memo drafting, with review of AI-generated output.
• Build, document, and maintain AI-enabled workflows and reporting automation in Pigment, NetSuite, and comparable tools, tracking time savings and quality improvements.
• Support quarterly and annual SEC financial statements and footnote disclosures by preparing tables, tie-outs, supporting schedules, analyses, and disclosure checklists.
• Research technical accounting questions, prepare accounting memos and analyses, update the accounting policy library, and assess the reporting impact of new accounting standards.
• Design, document, operate, and remediate SOX internal controls; independently review reporting schedules, disclosures, and reporting packages.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation across a multinational, multicurrency entity structure, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation; own ASC 842 lease accounting and support integrations, migrations, debt covenant reporting, and audit requests.

Requirements

• Prior experience with AI tools, SEC reporting, and accounting is mandatory.
• Daily hands-on use of AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT, with concrete examples of work automated or redesigned.
• SEC reporting experience preparing or supporting quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures for a public company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with Big 4 public accounting and public company industry experience preferred.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, including researching and documenting accounting conclusions.
• Working knowledge of SOX 404 and internal control over financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with financial consolidations in a multinational, multicurrency environment.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP; excellent written and verbal communication skills; flexibility to work in a fast-growing and agile business.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI workflows or agents with Claude Code, Codex, or similar tools to automate recurring accounting work.
• Experience with Pigment or similar tools, disclosure management software such as Workiva or ActiveDisclosure, or SQL/Python.
• CPA certification.
• Big 4 public accounting and public company industry experience.
