Manager of Product Management

Location: Remote within the United States; federal security clearance or Moderate Risk Public Trust eligibility required

Salary: $105,000–$150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop Product Managers supporting complex digital services and technology initiatives.
• Guide product strategy, discovery, roadmapping, prioritization, backlog management, and outcome-focused delivery.
• Partner with customers and stakeholders to define product vision, goals, priorities, and measures of success.
• Translate user needs, research, data, and technical considerations into actionable priorities for multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, research, delivery, and leadership teams to align work around measurable outcomes.
• Improve product management practices and support hiring, performance management, professional development, proposals, and organizational continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, digital product development, digital services, software delivery, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience leading, managing, mentoring, or developing Product Managers or other product professionals.
• Experience defining product strategy, vision, roadmaps, priorities, measurable outcomes, and iterative delivery plans for complex digital products or services.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and senior customers in complex stakeholder environments, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must currently hold, or have recently held, a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination or Secret or Top Secret federal security clearance, and be able to complete additional federal suitability, fitness, and financial background requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in federal government contracting or supporting federal civilian agencies, including FDIC.
• Experience leading product strategy for public-facing digital services, web modernization, digital transformation, or content platforms.
• Experience applying human-centered design, user research, analytics, and experimentation.
• Experience improving product management practices across large programs or organizations.
• PMP, Product Management, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable certification.
