Senior Project Manager (Cloud)

Location: Remote

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead delivery of complex customer engagements across multiple workstreams, using Scrum or hybrid practices to monitor progress, remove obstacles, and drive timely completion.
• Build trusted relationships with customer executives and stakeholders, understand business priorities, and align delivery with strategic objectives.
• Establish project governance, communication plans, definitions of done, staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Manage project financials, forecasts, estimates, change orders, delivery risks, scope, and budget, escalating concerns when identified.
• Prepare kickoffs, weekly status reports, checkpoint meetings, stakeholder communications, and responses to technical and billing questions.
• Mentor less experienced project managers and coordinate with Account Executives, vendors, partners, and client delivery teams on follow-on opportunities and effective execution.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role within a professional services or technology consulting organization.
• Experience delivering complex cloud migration and technology consulting projects, managing multiple workstreams concurrently on time and within budget.
• Ability to lead, influence, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams without relying on positional authority.
• Excellent executive-level and client-facing communication skills, including building rapport, managing expectations, and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand client needs and align solutions with strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated business development experience, including identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and driving revenue growth.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in professional services.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools, including Jira and FinancialForce.
• AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and a project management certification, such as PMP.

• Agile certifications, such as Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner.
• Broader AWS certifications beyond Cloud Practitioner.
• Prior experience using Jira and FinancialForce.
