Drupal CMS Project Manager / Scrum Master (Drupal)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Public Trust clearance. Travel: 0%.

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead the direction, coordination, execution, control, and completion of Federal IT web development projects from kickoff through final deployment.
• Serve as Scrum Master and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage the full lifecycle of an enterprise Drupal CMS website from setup and architecture through go-live and ongoing maintenance.
• Coordinate with creative design, UX/UI, content strategy, and technical teams to support visual integration, Section 508/WCAG 2.2 accessibility, and brand alignment.
• Manage schedules, conflicting priorities, technical blockers, team velocity, project health metrics, earned value analysis, risks, mitigation plans, and the risk register.
• Ensure contractual deliverables meet QASP, federal security, and privacy requirements while serving as the primary client-facing contact for government stakeholders, CORs, and program managers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 8+ years of hands-on experience in project management and Agile best practices.
• Experience managing full-lifecycle enterprise web development and CMS deployment projects.
• Experience with Drupal CMS.
• Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing multidisciplinary technical, creative design, and content teams.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Active Agile certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Agile management tools such as Jira and project scheduling software such as MS Project.
• Strong analytical, organizational, client-facing, oral, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Drupal website development projects from start to launch.
• Experience managing and coordinating work with external creative design partners, multimedia agencies, and UX/UI teams.
• Experience managing Federal Government contracts.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting environments such as AWS or Azure and cloud deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, Large Language Models, and AI-enabled site features or assistants.
• Knowledge of Federal security authorization processes, including FISMA and NIST SP 800-53, and Section 508/WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards.
