Program Manager, Product Development (Fintech)

What you will do

• Plan, govern and deliver complex strategic change across product, technology, operations and business stakeholder groups.
• Manage end-to-end delivery from project initiation and scope definition through planning, implementation and transition to BAU.
• Maintain RAID management, financial tracking, governance reporting, testing readiness and delivery controls.
• Engage senior stakeholders, communicate risks and decisions, unblock issues and maintain alignment across teams.
• Coordinate with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and client-facing teams to deliver agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong project management experience within financial services, ideally in asset servicing, custody, fund administration, regulatory change, data, digital or product delivery environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives end to end, including initiation, planning, scope management, RAID management, governance, financial tracking, testing readiness, implementation and BAU transition.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior stakeholders and concise reporting of delivery progress, risks and decisions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and external partners.
• Strong understanding of project governance, delivery controls and regulated change environments, including maintaining high-quality project artefacts and audit-ready documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies and practical experience using Clarity PPM, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Highly organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities and a focus on delivery outcomes.
• Commercial and financial awareness, including budget tracking, resource planning, forecasting and delivery reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including early risk identification, constructive challenge and practical resolution across teams.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master or equivalent.
