People Programme Manager

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; hybrid working. Right to work in the UK is required. hirify.global may consider sponsorship at its discretion. Employees may request up to 20 days per year of remote work abroad from certain locations.

What you will do

• Manage delivery of a large, complex, multi-location People/HR transformation programme through its next phase and implementation.
• Develop programme plans and monitor interdependencies across related projects and workstreams.
• Maintain programme information, including milestones, status reports, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and outcomes.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and drive actions through to completion.
• Facilitate governance, status updates, risk, issue and exception reporting to support alignment and decision-making.
• Improve programme delivery processes, tools and systems while coaching and developing junior or less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale People/HR programmes with multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, complex commercial environment.
• Proven experience managing project controls, including risks, issues, dependencies, plans, reporting and governance.
• Strong understanding of project management methodology, best-practice tools, templates and techniques, supported by relevant learning or study.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills across line and matrix environments and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure, clarity and focus to complex situations.
• Ability to motivate, focus and align programme and project teams through multi-phase transformation, ambiguity and change.
