Programme Manager

What you will do

• Lead complex merger, acquisition, integration, and separation programmes in regulated, technical, or complex enterprise environments.
• Manage multiple projects within large technology-enabled business programmes.
• Lead project managers and large cross-functional technology teams, setting objectives and maintaining alignment with information systems and business strategy.
• Own integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, resources, budgets, risks, issues, governance, and stakeholder escalations.
• Use reporting and governance tools to monitor delivery and analyse programme performance.
• Communicate programme goals to senior stakeholders and technical leadership while influencing decisions and resolving conflicts.

Requirements

• Recent experience delivering product-based or application-focused projects, ideally in a complex technology environment.
• Significant experience managing multiple projects within a large, technology-enabled business programme.
• Strong programme leadership experience, including leading project managers and large cross-functional technology teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with senior stakeholders and technical leadership.
• Business and commercial acumen, including understanding industry trends, innovation, and how digital solutions create business value.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts amid competing priorities and limited resources.
• Strong programme planning, governance, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with transition service agreements and exit planning.
• Relevant project or programme management qualifications, such as PMI/PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, and/or Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).
