Director, Supply Chain Planning & Optimization

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States; work is performed on-site or in a hybrid office setting, with occasional visits to manufacturing plants, warehouses, supplier, or distribution sites.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise supply chain planning and optimization strategies covering material planning, inventory planning, constrained supply, SIOP inputs, and Clear-To-Build execution.
• Establish planning standards, governance processes, KPIs, scorecards, reporting routines, and performance review frameworks.
• Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives focused on process efficiency, inventory performance, service improvements, waste elimination, and cost optimization.
• Direct supply chain analytics, dashboards, predictive analytics, ERP and planning technology optimization, and cross-functional supply chain projects.
• Lead and develop managers, analysts, planners, project leaders, and continuous improvement professionals.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Information Technology leadership to improve service, productivity, working capital, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, planning, logistics, procurement, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers, professional staff, or multifunctional teams.
• Manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Demonstrated success leading planning, operational excellence, performance management, or supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing enterprise processes, KPIs, governance frameworks, and operating standards.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within complex manufacturing organizations.
• Proven results improving service, inventory performance, operational efficiency, productivity, and working capital.
• Experience implementing and using ERP systems, planning tools, analytics platforms, and business intelligence solutions.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain planning and execution, material planning, inventory optimization, SIOP or Integrated Business Planning, manufacturing metrics, Lean, Six Sigma, data analytics, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Strategic thinking, business acumen, executive communication, stakeholder management, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, program and project leadership, organizational change leadership, talent development, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to travel occasionally to supplier, distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse sites and work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or related graduate degree.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent professional certification.
