Director, Supply Chain & Logistics (IoT Hardware)

Location: On-site at hirify.global’s Plano, TX office, United States; domestic and international travel to contract manufacturers, suppliers, and hirify.global locations up to 20%.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end hardware supply chain operations, including third-party contract manufacturers, demand planning, build plans, capacity commitments, and MRP.
• Manage BOMs, revision control, ECOs, component availability, product costing, supplier resourcing, and cost-reduction initiatives with Engineering and Product.
• Lead contract manufacturing quality, certification compliance, scorecards, corrective actions, new product introduction, product transitions, and supply resilience planning.
• Direct domestic and international shipping, receiving, freight, customs, trade compliance, inventory, warehouses, returns, and fulfillment across global locations.
• Lead strategic procurement, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, procure-to-pay controls, partner-sourced hardware, and drop-ship orders.
• Lead and develop a team of three, run monthly S&OP, own supply chain KPIs and budget, and report planning, forecasting, and inventory-close results to the CFO and leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of supply chain, operations, or manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in a management role.
• Experience managing third-party contract manufacturers for electronic hardware, ideally IoT, telematics, or connected devices.
• Strong command of production planning, MRP, BOM management, and product costing.
• Hands-on experience with international logistics, customs, and trade compliance.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel, plus the ability to own operational KPIs and reporting built from ERP and CRM data.
• Track record of negotiating supplier contracts and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Excellent communication skills, including executive presentation and cross-functional influence.
• Based at hirify.global’s Plano, TX office; able to work occasionally outside normal hours with global partners.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP, or ISM CPSM certification.
• NetSuite experience.
• Experience with certified hardware for regulated or hazardous environments, including ATEX/IECEx or Class I Div 2.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers in Asia, Mexico, or other offshore regions.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement background.
• Experience in a growing, private equity-backed, or high-growth technology company.
