Senior Human Resources Generalist (Manufacturing)

Location: Lowville, NY; onsite Monday-Friday at the Lowville Plant, with some work outside first-shift hours at a 24/7 manufacturing site.

New hire base salary: $77,800-$97,300 per year. Eligible for a performance-based bonus.

Produces Philadelphia Cream Cheese and operates a manufacturing site with approximately 450 employees, including a large hourly workforce.

What you will do

• Support staffing plans, talent development, and onsite hiring initiatives in partnership with talent acquisition.
• Support the facility's mission, values, culture, change, and transformation initiatives.
• Build relationships with employees and support engagement, enrichment, and development.
• Apply HR systems, policies, and programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Use data and analytics to inform business and talent decisions and achieve KPI goals.
• Support the People Pillar of Total Productive Management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR experience supporting hourly employees and cross-functional partners in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong business acumen and project management skills.
• Technical proficiency with workplace technology and systems such as Workday, Dayforce, Indeavor, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and key customers, influencing through data and insights.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead change through others.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks while managing multiple assignments.
