HR Generalist (Manufacturing)

Location: Export, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite Monday through Friday at a manufacturing facility, with occasional presence on the manufacturing floor and up to 5% travel.

What you will do

• Support employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, leave management, ADA, employment-law compliance, and other HR compliance activities.
• Partner with managers and Talent Acquisition on staffing needs, recruitment, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
• Support performance management, individual development plans, performance improvement plans, management training, and learning initiatives.
• Coach employees, frontline leaders, and managers on employee relations, performance expectations, conflict resolution, organizational change, and employee concerns.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and partner with HR leadership and legal on ethics-related matters.
• Generate HR reports and analytics, support employee engagement and community activities, and participate in HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including 1+ years in a manufacturing, industrial, distribution center, or similar environment.
• Ability to partner with all organizational levels and drive communication and change management.
• Ability to interpret company goals, strategies, and values to support an inclusive and engaged workforce.
• Experience using HRIS systems for data management and metrics-driven decisions.
• Problem-solving, analytical, organizational, time-management, collaboration, and project-management skills.
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, engagement activities, manager training, and accountability.
• Empathetic approach, strong relationship-management skills, and the ability to establish trust and credibility.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; integrity, ethics, confidentiality, flexibility, adaptability, and curiosity.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, safety practices, and procedures.
• Must establish employment eligibility and successfully complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
