P&C Business Partner (Human Resources)

Location: Richmond, Utah, United States; onsite work in a bakery and plant-floor environment.

Salary: $67,700–$93,100 per year base salary.

What you will do

• Manage employee relations cases, conduct investigations, interpret policies, coach employees, and support consistent disciplinary practices.
• Lead hourly recruitment and selection, including job postings, pre-employment checks, testing, offers, I-9 verification, and staffing coordination.
• Administer leave, benefits, workers’ compensation, occupational injury claims, and employee engagement activities.
• Drive hourly performance management, compensation processes, local wage surveys, and wage recommendations.
• Deliver HR-related training and support frontline leadership development.
• Develop affirmative action updates, support employment-law compliance, and help implement Lean Manufacturing and organizational change initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or 5–7 years of relevant experience combined with a bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment, or 5–7 years of relevant experience with a related bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, organization, presentation, and deductive-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of employment law, employee relations, performance management, benefits, leave administration, and workforce compensation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn additional systems; SAP access administration is required.
• Must be able to work in office and plant-floor settings, including exposure to industrial noise, forklift traffic, moving mechanical parts, and temperature extremes.

Nice to have

• Experience in food manufacturing or the consumer products industry.
• Prior experience with PeopleSoft, Kronos, and SAP.
