Director, Global Legal, Compliance & Regulatory (GLCR) Technology, Data, Analytics & Automation

Location: New York, United States, or Dublin, Ireland. Primarily office-based.

Base salary: $195,000–$215,000 for New York; EUR 136,000–168,000 for Dublin, plus bonus eligibility for the Dublin position.

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing global team driving technology, process innovation, and AI adoption across legal, compliance, and regulatory functions.
• Partner with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into system specifications, user stories, and process flows, and collaborate with IT, vendors, and cross-functional partners through design, testing, UAT, and production rollout.
• Identify process inefficiencies and deliver technology and automation improvements, including an annual automated compliance monitoring and testing program.
• Operationalize the GLCR Technology Roadmap, maintain application operational excellence, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial impact.
• Present learnings to senior Compliance stakeholders and support Global Security, Aviation & Sustainability with comparable strategic direction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant technology, operations, and analytics experience. Insurance industry and/or legal, compliance, and regulatory knowledge is preferred.
• Experience leading high-performing teams, executing projects effectively, and building a culture of operational excellence.
• Experience leading the development and execution of automation strategies.
• Experience developing applications using desktop and web-enabled reporting, database, and analytics tools.
• Experience collaborating with IT organizations and business partners on projects.
• Strong project management, attention to detail, interpersonal, time management, prioritization, written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to educate team members in automation, identify process improvements, suggest efficiencies, document processes, and transfer knowledge.
• BA degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Study in Data Management, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or a related discipline.
• Insurance industry and/or legal, compliance, and regulatory knowledge.
