Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $149,084–$198,779 annually; location-based ranges also include $156,539–$208,718 and $163,993–$218,657 depending on state.

What you will do

• Lead the Legal Operations function and oversee day-to-day non-attorney legal support delivery across Legal & Public Policy.
• Own intake, triage, assignment, escalation, service standards, governance, and performance management.
• Balance workload, capacity, demand fluctuations, backlogs, and coverage needs.
• Build cross-training and succession plans while leading, coaching, and developing legal support professionals.
• Define service offerings, workflows, procedures, controls, and reporting for confidential, privileged, and higher-risk matters.
• Partner with legal leaders and stakeholders to improve service delivery, implement process improvements, and adopt AI and legal technology solutions.

Requirements

• Experience leading legal operations, legal service delivery, or a comparable function.
• Experience building, scaling, or transforming service-oriented teams and processes.
• Strong understanding of corporate legal support functions, including contracts, matter management, records management, legal holds, e-discovery support, entity management, legal technology, and compliance support.
• Experience managing workloads, service commitments, and operational performance in a complex environment.
• Proven success working with senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Strong operational leadership, project management, process improvement, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design scalable workflows, procedures, and service models; familiarity with legal-focused technology solutions.
• Sound judgment regarding confidentiality, privilege, and attorney escalation, with the ability to build structure in a new and evolving environment.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change, influence without direct authority, communicate effectively, build trust with senior stakeholders, lead teams, improve service delivery outcomes, and balance consistency, efficiency, risk, and stakeholder needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
