Systems Analyst III (Healthcare)

Salary: $81,100–$137,900 national range; $92,400–$157,100 national plus range for higher-cost labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.

What you will do

• Represent business stakeholders within Agile delivery teams and act as a liaison between business and IT for implementations, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Lead requirements elicitation, decomposition, process analysis, scope definition, dependency and risk analysis, and solution evaluation for complex initiatives.
• Document epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, business and functional requirements, UI specifications, and business rules.
• Evaluate automation opportunities and develop low-code solutions using UiPath, Appian, and other workflow automation platforms.
• Analyze data and integrations using SQL and other tools; perform data mapping, define transformation rules, support reporting, metrics, root-cause investigations, and solution modeling.
• Support SDLC testing, backlog and release planning, defect triage, UAT, and mentoring of junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of business systems analysis experience, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, stakeholder management, and delivery of technology solutions in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes, system interactions, operational workflows, and data relationships to identify risks, opportunities, root causes, and scalable solutions.
• Experience working with SQL, large datasets, data validation, data architecture, data flows, integrations, reporting, APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, and enterprise data platforms for operational data analysis.
• Experience developing and using dashboards, reports, and data visualizations with BI tools.
• Experience designing and implementing automation solutions using UiPath, Appian, and other low-code or workflow automation platforms.
• Ability to elicit, analyze, organize, document, prioritize, and trace requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Strong communication, facilitation, collaboration, decision-making, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and lead medium to large workshops.

Nice to have

• Experience in software development environments using Agile practices, including Scrum and SAFe.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare or health insurance industry processes and systems.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Confluence, and Product Plan.
