What you will do

• Provide specialized support for pharmacy staff across the care continuum and serve as a subject matter expert for Epic Willow Ambulatory.
• Plan, design, implement, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve healthcare information systems.
• Collaborate with technical support, customers, leadership, and project teams on system design, implementation, and training.
• Lead high-impact initiatives, oversee team performance, and support the long-term success of the Willow Ambulatory system.
• Develop, recommend, and oversee policies and procedures for assigned areas.
• Educate pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy leadership, and other clinicians on Willow use.

Requirements

• Active Epic Willow Ambulatory and inventory certification is required.
• At least 6 years of experience in a healthcare role with the same or similar primary duties, including database and data analysis technology and project management tools.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting pharmacy operations or healthcare organization support functions such as billing, patient flow, scheduling, access services, or health information management.
• At least 3 years of Epic Willow experience and experience with Epic configuration.
• A bachelor's degree in nursing, PharmD, another clinical discipline, information technology/informatics, business, management, communications, or an equivalent combination of experience.

Nice to have

• Active clinical license or certification, such as PharmD, MD, RN, physical therapist, occupational therapist, dietitian, clinical social worker, or respiratory therapist.
• Current Epic Beacon certification.
• Experience building departments and implementing Community Connect locations.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Microsoft SQL 2000 or 2005, Cognos, Crystal Reports, and Visio.
• History of formal or informal team management, cross-team communication, and leadership.
• Experience managing projects involving data gathering, analysis, and definition of business and functional requirements.
• Certification or accreditation in Compass Rose, Health Planet, or Willow Inpatient.
