Sr Geospatial Technician (Geospatial)

Location: Westminster, Colorado; full-time hybrid work is available with a minimum of Tuesday–Thursday in the office. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or otherwise meet the stated U.S. Person requirement.

Salary: $27.75–$46.50 hourly; Colorado base pay range: $27.75–$37.00–$40.70 hourly.

What you will do

• Create 3D solutions from multiple aerial or satellite images using proprietary and geospatial software.
• Generate, review, edit, and deliver software outputs.
• Perform high-output quality control and review of 3D data while maintaining product quality standards.
• Apply 3D product specifications consistently and develop a thorough understanding of the relevant software.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or qualifying U.S. Person status is required.
• One of the following is required: a related bachelor's degree or recognized related training program plus 2 years of similar geospatial industry experience; a related associate's degree plus 3 years of similar geospatial industry experience; or at least 4 years of similar geospatial industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or training.
• Experience performing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a geospatial production environment.
• Experience reviewing peer work and providing feedback.

Nice to have

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of elevation data types.
• Experience reviewing work for adherence to quality and product specifications and providing verbal and written feedback.
• Basic knowledge of GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or QT Viewer/Modeler.
• Basic knowledge of mapping or navigation applications, including coordinate systems, projections, and GPS.
• Basic knowledge of Linux platforms.
• Basic experience with project-tracking software such as Jira or enterprise-level ticketing systems.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Willingness to work from the Westminster, Colorado office full-time or in a hybrid arrangement with at least Tuesday–Thursday in the office.
• Willingness to maintain home high-speed internet of at least 100 Mbps.
