Intern Transport Planning (Automotive)

Location: San Luis Potosi, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Support the planning, introduction, and improvement of complex logistics processes across all transport modes.
• Help develop and implement integrated transportation optimization proposals.
• Collect data for capacity and resource planning across transportation networks.
• Create and improve transportation flows and support logistics functions in production plants, launches, supply chain, transport, and container management.
• Work with customers and suppliers on departmental topics and determine logistics costs for bids, containers, and transports.
• Create documentation and presentations, including packaging data sheets and requirements manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, international business, business administration, or a related field.
• Interest in automotive logistics, project management, data analytics, statistics, or a similar field.
• Advanced English.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience in traffic, customs, or import-export is preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, product integrity, specific customer requirements, statistical tools, troubleshooting tools, and risk analysis.
