Procurement Trainee

What you will do

• Analyze project scope and procurement requirements.
• Support compliance with procurement procedures, policies, EHS, and Quality guidelines.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Analyze market conditions, supplier proposals, and commercial strategies.
• Assist with procurement plans, supplier sourcing, and supplier development initiatives.
• Prepare cost analyses, pricing statistics, and reporting tools for bidding and project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros.
• Ability to process and analyze data, generate reports and statistics, and perform cost analyses.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of supplier sourcing, commodity market trends such as copper and steel, Incoterms, imports, and free trade agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective written and verbal communication, teamwork, proactivity, flexibility, sense of urgency, self-management, and interest in the commercial aspects of projects involving Sales, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, academic project, extracurricular activity, or exposure to procurement, sourcing, supply chain, commercial operations, or related business functions.
• SAP knowledge.
