Senior Program Manager (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role based in Oakland or Denver, United States.

What you will do

• Coordinate and program manage multiple concurrent product initiatives from conception through delivery and adoption.
• Develop program plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements across departments.
• Act as the central stakeholder contact and facilitate collaboration across product management, engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, sales, and support.
• Run regular meetings, track progress, resolve roadblocks, and align teams on next steps.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and issues, and present updates, achievements, challenges, and risks to senior management.
• Improve program management processes, tools, methodologies, team efficiency, and collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program management experience.
• Prior experience overseeing cloud-based software products from concept to launch.
• Knowledge of market trends, SaaS business models, and the financial implications of product decisions.
• Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills, including experience with market research and competitive analysis.
• Understanding of user needs, preferences, and behaviors throughout product development.
• Mastery of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong prioritization, organization, multitasking, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with changing priorities.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or another relevant project management certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with data processing, including ETL or ELT, and/or cloud-based platforms.
• PMP certification.
