Location: Milan, Italy; London, UK; Madrid, Spain; or Warsaw, Poland. Most days must be spent in the Milan office during the first few months, after which remote work from approved countries or work from one of the offices may be agreed.

Typical annual salary offers range from £85,797 to £151,436 in London and from €66,065 to €107,837 elsewhere in Europe. Exceptionally experienced candidates may receive up to £398,287 in London or €303,108 elsewhere in Europe.

What you will do

• Advise on employment and labor matters, including policies, hiring, contracts, compensation, benefits, relocations, and separations.
• Support acquisitions, reorganizations, transitions, and integrations across jurisdictions.
• Manage claims and litigation in collaboration with outside counsel and the People team.
• Create and maintain scalable legal processes, policies, forms, playbooks, and other tools.
• Integrate AI-powered workflows into legal operations.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and identify opportunities to address evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Strong reasoning ability, including solving complex problems from first principles, structuring ideas clearly, identifying relevant details, and resisting bias.
• High ambition, initiative, effort, tenacity, and responsibility for the quality of work.
• Collaborative team spirit, reliability, honesty, transparency, and willingness to support the best idea and help the team.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• After obtaining a law degree, experience practicing at a law firm or as in-house counsel, including exposure to major challenges relevant to the role.
