Corporate Counsel I

Location: Poland or Hungary; remote or hybrid depending on the candidate's location

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on customer, partner, cloud, software, professional services, procurement, NDA, and other commercial agreements.
• Support sales and business teams with contract negotiations, risk assessments, contractual rights, obligations, and dispute avoidance.
• Support corporate governance, entity management, board and shareholder matters, corporate approvals, records, restructurings, and other corporate projects across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with disputes, claims, litigation, internal investigations, evidence preservation, dispute resolution, litigation strategy, and case management.
• Support regulatory, compliance, data privacy, legal research, policy implementation, and compliance programs.
• Participate in strategic cross-functional initiatives, improve legal processes, and deliver legal training and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Approximately 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or multinational corporate legal department.
• Strong interest in commercial, corporate, and litigation matters.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Pragmatic and commercially minded approach, ownership and accountability, intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn new areas of law, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural and geographically dispersed team.
• Collaborative mindset and strong business partnership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting international or cross-border legal matters.
• Experience in the technology, telecommunications, software, or SaaS industries.
• Exposure to corporate governance and legal entity management.
• Experience managing external counsel and litigation matters.
• Additional European or Middle Eastern languages.
