Project Manager, Information Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Plan and manage technical information security projects from initiation through closure, defining scope, objectives, milestones, resources, and success criteria.
• Coordinate security platform deployments across development, infrastructure, networking, cloud, application, and end-user computing teams, including onboarding, pilots, phased rollouts, regional sequencing, and rollback planning.
• Lead change management for workforce-facing security rollouts, including communications, user guidance, training materials, and service desk readiness.
• Manage RAID logs, dependencies, risks, issues, project budgets, purchase orders, vendor deliverables, and professional services partners.
• Prepare steering committee, executive, and portfolio-level reporting covering status, risks, decisions, resourcing, and upcoming milestones.
• Support acquired-business security integrations and data security initiatives such as data discovery and classification, using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow to maintain project documentation and change records.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years managing technical, infrastructure, or IT projects in a global or matrixed organization.
• Proven end-to-end project delivery experience, including planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk and issue management, and project closure.
• Working understanding of information security concepts including application security, network and web security, zero-trust access, cloud security, and data protection.
• Experience coordinating technical deployments across infrastructure, networking, cloud, application development, and end-user computing teams.
• Experience managing enterprise rollouts affecting end users, including pilots, phased deployments, communications, and service desk readiness.
• Experience tracking project budgets, purchase orders, and vendor deliverables and collaborating with procurement and finance.
• Experience preparing steering committee and executive status reports and presenting risks, decisions, and trade-offs clearly.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow for project tracking, documentation, and change management.
• Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to align technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Background in security projects such as security platform deployments, network security transformations, or M&A integration.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum/Agile.
