Quality Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work; willingness to travel required.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain project planning, workload estimates, budgets, and capacity balancing.
• Coordinate and monitor project initiatives, timelines, deliverables, and handovers through to completion.
• Identify improvement opportunities, new processes, and digital solutions, assessing their impact on project scope.
• Track risks, opportunities, timelines, and budgets; implement basic mitigation steps and escalate critical issues.
• Prepare status updates, run progress meetings, manage project documentation and communications, and provide accurate reports.
• Act as the primary contact for higher project management levels while guiding cross-functional team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of project management experience within the aerospace industry.
• Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, prioritization, and delegation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and managing cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of aerospace regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, quick comprehension, business-fluent English, and experience with MS Office and G Suite.
