Business Systems Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States

Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce solutions, including flows, validation rules, custom objects, page layouts, permission sets, and other declarative configurations.
• Gather requirements from RevOps, Marketing Operations, Legal, Finance, Deal Desk, and other stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Administer Salesforce, including user management, data quality, security, access controls, and system health monitoring.
• Support billing integrations, multi-org consolidation, international and multi-currency expansion, and compliance initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, implement durable fixes, and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in testing, quality assurance, change management, and collaboration with external implementation partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and/or administration experience, ideally supporting GTM, Sales, or RevOps.
• Working knowledge of Sales Cloud, Flow, process automation, validation rules, permission sets, profiles, reports, dashboards, and data management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, prioritize effectively, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Access to export-controlled information requires U.S. person status, eligibility without export authorization, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining the required U.S. authorization.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Administrator certification, such as ADM 201, or Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce integrations, multi-org environments, international expansion, or multi-currency implementations.
• Experience in a SOX-controlled environment or with formal change management and release processes.
