Program Leader (Enigneering)

Location: Wyoming, MN, USA

Starting pay range: $105,000–$138,000 per year in Minnesota.

What you will do

• Provide functional technical leadership across engineering programs and projects for recreational and off-road vehicles.
• Manage bill of material costs, investment, tooling capital, schedules, and key performance characteristics through integrated product team meetings with teams of approximately 5–20 people.
• Influence component and system designs to improve product competitiveness, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market opportunities.
• Benchmark competitive products, materials, and processes and apply the hirify.global product development process.
• Coordinate development, testing, drafting, layout, and fabrication activities, while supervising technical assignments and monitoring progress.
• Participate in design reviews, analyze field issues, recommend technical solutions, and represent hirify.global in engineering and legal standards meetings.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of engineering experience, preferably in consumer product development.
• Broad knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and procedures applied to complex technical problems.
• Strong creativity, innovation, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Quality-focused approach with attention to customer needs.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pro-E.
