ServiceNow Developer

Location: Atlanta Metro Area, United States; other listed locations include Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Tampa, Nashville, Cleveland, Charlotte, and Baltimore. Most roles follow a hybrid workstyle aligned to an hirify.global office, with in-person collaboration based on client, team, development, or relationship-building needs.

Salary: $85,100–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, Flow Designer, and workflows.
• Configure modules, forms, tables, workflows, notifications, integrations, and other platform functionality.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory where applicable.
• Participate in the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, support upgrades and releases, maintain documentation, and collaborate with architects, business analysts, consultants, administrators, and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Approximately 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
• Experience developing ServiceNow solutions with JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, and/or workflows.
• Experience configuring, customizing, and supporting ServiceNow applications in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, REST, SOAP, LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, and related web technologies and integration methods.
• Experience participating in at least one full-cycle ServiceNow implementation from requirements and solution design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience troubleshooting ServiceNow applications, integrations, workflows, and platform configurations.
• Ability to translate functional and business requirements into effective technical solutions and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, client-facing consulting environment and manage multiple development priorities.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
• Experience implementing and supporting multiple ServiceNow applications or modules.
• Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, CMDB, custom application development, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, APIs, and web services.
• Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades and evaluating customizations for release compatibility.
• Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
