Senior ServiceNow Developer (Public Trust Clearance)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with EST hours. Arlington, VA is listed as another location.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, development, and deployment of ServiceNow applications and custom modules.
• Build workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACLs, automation scripts, custom widgets, and Service Portal components.
• Develop integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, Integration Hub, and third-party connectors.
• Ensure platform security, compliance, performance, scalability, and data governance.
• Mentor and provide technical oversight to ServiceNow developers in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts, troubleshoot platform issues, and document technical solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Active DHS Public Trust clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
• 9+ years of hands-on ServiceNow platform development and administration experience.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and strong expertise in App Engine, custom application development, and Service Portal development.
• Experience with JavaScript, GlideScript, Flow Designer, REST, SOAP, Agile delivery, CI/CD, DevOps, Jira or Azure DevOps, and AWS.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with HR Service Delivery solutions in ServiceNow.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design.
• Experience with Integration Hub and complex external API integrations.
