Community and Events Manager (AI)

Location: On-site at the San Francisco office, United States.

Base salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus equity.

What you will do

• Generate event and community initiative ideas and develop experiences that make events distinctive.
• Curate guest lists and build relationships with founders, accelerators, and venture capital firms across the Bay Area, including YC, Neo, HF0, and SPC.
• Manage communications with speakers, partners, and guests.
• Run event logistics, ensuring every part of the experience operates smoothly and on time.
• Own event marketing, including copy and social media, to attract relevant attendees.
• Collaborate with brand and events teams in London and support major product launches when needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in community and events, venture, startup ecosystems, or partnerships.
• Track record of consistently running successful events for a technology audience.
• Comfort communicating with executives and founders.
• Ability to work autonomously, set direction, incorporate feedback, and execute independently.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on the complete attendee experience.
• Understanding of startups, technology, founders, and operators.
• Strong judgment, original ideas, and sensitivity to hirify.global’s brand.
• Willingness to handle both strategic and hands-on event tasks.
• Ability to build relationships, work a crowd, and communicate boundaries clearly.
