Developer Relations Advocate (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid with 2–3 designated office days each week.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 USD per year, plus OTE or bonus.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global in San Francisco's AI and developer community and bring market insight into US growth initiatives.
• Grow developer communities through online forums, social media, events, meet-ups, webinars, and hackathons.
• Collect developer feedback and translate it into product improvements in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Create tutorials, code samples, demos, blog posts, documentation, videos, and talks that explain the technology and help developers build with it.
• Support developers from their first API call through a working product, resolve technical challenges, and partner with engineering on complex issues.
• Build relationships with developers, partners, and community champions, and use community and content data to guide future priorities.

Requirements

• Early-career experience in developer relations, community management, developer support, software development, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools, with an interest in building things and trying new technology.
• Collaborative approach and confidence working with engineering and product teams to turn community feedback into improvements.
• Curiosity about speech technology, AI, and machine learning, with willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Enthusiasm for networking and building relationships with developers, partners, and the wider community.

Nice to have

• Experience creating technical content, documentation, blog posts, videos, or talks through work, study, open-source, or side projects.
