Technical Project Manager, Finance (ERP)

Location: New York City, NY or Englewood Cliffs, NJ; hybrid with 3 days onsite.

Salary: USD 130,000–160,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end finance systems transformation initiatives, including assessment, planning, execution, and future-state ERP evaluation and selection.
• Manage ERP delivery across data migration, testing, cutover, readiness tracking, risk mitigation, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define project plans, timelines, phases, risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering, product, Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal, Privacy, executive leadership, system integrators, vendors, and contract resources.
• Translate product requirements into delivery plans and communicate trade-offs, risks, decisions, and progress.
• Use AI tools and workflow automation to improve planning, reporting, Jira processes, visibility, and delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management.
• Expert knowledge of Finance systems and business processes, including GL, AP/AR, and FP&A, with the ability to map and optimize end-to-end workflows across Finance and adjacent operational domains.
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformations.
• Experience partnering with or supporting HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal, or Privacy in system or process transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing automated Jira processes, integrating tools, and continuously improving workflows for scalable delivery.
• Experience supporting cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities; working across technical and functional teams; and managing vendors and system integrators.
• Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in using and integrating Jira, Asana, Confluence, LucidChart, Slack, and Zoom.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and Workday.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives across Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Legal, and Privacy, with awareness of cross-functional dependencies.
• Proactive approach, attention to detail, ability to anticipate risks and next steps, build effective relationships, and follow through on execution.
