Senior M365 / Power Platform Developer (AI)

Location: Remote; U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Salary: USD $132,930.00–$143,835.00 per year.

What you will do

• Design and deliver modern Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions for collaboration, process automation, knowledge management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Develop SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Microsoft Teams extensions, custom connectors, and enterprise-grade automated workflows.
• Use Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure AI services, and other Microsoft-integrated AI capabilities to automate processes, classify data, extract insights, and build conversational applications.
• Migrate and modernize content and solutions to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online, including classic-to-modern experiences.
• Implement governance, security, compliance, identity, role-based access controls, application lifecycle management, pipelines, source control, and DevOps practices.
• Create PowerShell automation for administration, reporting, and operational support, while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 8 years of related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of related experience; equivalent relevant experience is accepted.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 application development, including SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Microsoft Teams extensions.
• Hands-on experience with the M365 ecosystem, SharePoint Framework, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS, Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and custom connectors.
• Experience building canvas apps, model-driven apps, scalable data models, enterprise-grade workflows, and Power Platform AI solutions including document processing, sentiment analysis, prediction models, and generative AI integrations.
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot Studio to build conversational bots and automate knowledge workflows.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Cognitive Services, or embeddings-based solutions.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, Azure fundamentals, M365 security, compliance, identity, role-based access controls, governance, ALM, source control, pipelines, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, web applications, IIS, Windows hosting, and integration patterns.
• Experience migrating to Microsoft 365 or SharePoint Online and modernizing classic solutions; proficiency in PowerShell scripting and tenant-level administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate with senior subject-matter experts, and partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Certified application developer credentials indicating advanced or expert application development knowledge.
• Previous use of Codex or Claude.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Automation, or serverless integration patterns.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and Azure fundamentals.
