Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid working with office attendance every Thursday.

Salary: €5,933–€7,910 per month. The posting also lists €5,339–€7,119 depending on knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and networking solutions in large-scale Azure environments.
• Deliver Platform as a Service solutions as part of the Azure Cloud Foundation Team.
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM.
• Develop CI/CD practices, automation, scripting, and internally developed service APIs.
• Apply cloud best practices for security, governance, compliance, identity and access management, and networking.
• Work with stakeholders and teammates to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience implementing cloud infrastructure and/or networking solutions, preferably in large-scale environments.
• Experience working in teams delivering Azure PaaS solutions.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and automation, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, identity and access management, and networking.
• Experience with scripting, preferably PowerShell.
• Good command of English, the working language at NN.
• Experience working with stakeholders at enterprise scale and within large multi-account environments.
• Ownership, curiosity, structured and pragmatic decision-making, calmness under pressure, and the ability to maintain an overview.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and maintaining internally developed service APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Azure certifications, including recent certifications.
• Experience with containers.
• Knowledge of Dutch for working in a predominantly Dutch-speaking team.
