R&D IT Automation Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment of changes.
• Develop and maintain components of the R&D automation platform.
• Advise the organization on automation improvements and help implement them.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle, from problem analysis and design through implementation, testing, and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with developers, operations staff, the Product Owner, R&D representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Support a platform with an approximately 80% development and 20% operational activity mix.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least three years of experience with DevOps implementations and operations.
• Solid DevOps mindset and ability to evaluate and optimize DevOps processes and practices using Lean or Agile.
• Experience maintaining automation and configuration management with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and AWS CodeDeploy.
• Good understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and server management, with experience using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Ability to provide Windows automations using PowerShell.
• Curiosity and proactive interest in using AI capabilities to improve processes, automate routine tasks, and enhance productivity.
• Solution-oriented, hands-on, and flexible in responding to business needs.
• Customer-centric approach, teamwork, and ability to collaborate as part of a larger organization.
