AI Platform Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable AI infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards for monitoring, networking, security, privacy, auditability, and governance.
• Prototype emerging AI infrastructure components and translate them into enterprise standards while aligning regulatory requirements with architecture, security, risk, data governance, and platform teams.
• Support AI developer teams by providing infrastructure, AI, and platform expertise, templates, and reference implementations.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions, CI/CD pipelines, platform automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Develop integrations between AI services, AKS services, and supporting platforms.

Requirements

• Strong Azure platform engineering skills, including networking and IAM with Entra ID.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Services and Azure API Management.
• Experience with reliability engineering for AI platforms, including observability, scalability, and availability.
• Solid Python experience for troubleshooting and prototyping AI technologies.
• Experience with DevOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of generative AI, LLMOps, security and governance, cost and token tracking, and rate limiting.
• Understanding of AI concepts including agents, RAG, evaluation, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools including Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Security and governance awareness, a Developer Experience mindset, systems thinking, and architecture modelling skills.
