Electrical Engineer (RF/Analog)

Location: US - Chestnut Ridge, NY; onsite, full-time

Salary: $90,800–$121,100 per year

What you will do

• Develop precision, high-speed, RF analog, and mixed-signal circuitry for next-generation probes and oscilloscope acquisition systems.
• Prepare technical documentation supporting product planning, system architecture, and complex electronic designs.
• Create schematics and oversee high-frequency PCB layouts, including ceramic and organic packages.
• Design test fixtures and implement automated test routines to validate prototypes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineering teams to turn concepts into market-ready products.
• Support and review product modifications throughout the operational lifecycle, from architecture through launch and mass production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of electronic design experience, or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of electronic design experience.
• Strong logical thinking, rapid learning ability, and genuine motivation to expand technical knowledge.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of high-speed analog design, signal integrity, transmission lines, RF, and microwave principles.
• Experience analyzing circuits in frequency and time domains.
• Excellent communication skills, including leading meetings, conducting design reviews, and creating clear technical drawings, slides, graphs, and system or data explanations.
• Broad electronic design knowledge covering power supplies, microcontrollers, clocking, transistor-level design, and PCBA technologies.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical, Software, QA, and Manufacturing functions.
• Experience with digital oscilloscopes and network analyzers, calibration, automation, and SMD soldering.
• Experience with design simulation and analysis tools such as Orcad, PSpice, Excel, Ansys, and MATLAB.
• Ability to script in Python, VB, or similar languages for measurement automation and data analysis.
• Ability to manage projects or subsystems with attention to schedule, cost, and material requirements.
• Foundational understanding of digital signal processing theory.
