Electrical Engineer (Electronic Design Automation)

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; on-site presence required with remote work available up to two days per week

Salary: $93,200–$128,150 per year

What you will do

• Specify, design, develop, integrate, and test electrical modules and tools throughout the product life cycle.
• Identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements, specifications, interfaces, and verification criteria.
• Conduct feasibility studies, develop engineering concepts, make technical tradeoffs, and resolve design issues.
• Coordinate system and product integration, dependencies, configuration management, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.
• Plan and execute electrical validation, verification, testing, and qualification activities supporting release readiness.
• Estimate effort, manage risks and dependencies, maintain technical documentation, and provide technical guidance or mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, plus at least two years of relevant experience or a relevant master’s degree.
• Experience with electronic design automation tools and printed circuit board design.
• Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and verification.
• Knowledge of E-CAD tools, preferably Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer, and circuit simulation tools such as PSpice.
• Experience with electronic laboratory equipment, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or Python.
• Must be legally authorized to access United States-controlled technology before beginning work.
