Electrical Design Engineer (Analog PCB Design)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite role.

Base pay: $117,800–$172,800 annually.

What you will do

• Develop electrical subsystems for next-generation reticle inspection tools.
• Collaborate with electrical, system, functional, and subsystem engineers to define electrical design specifications.
• Work with external vendors and contractors to deliver subsystems meeting design specifications and reliability targets.
• Integrate and test electrical subsystems.
• Perform design bring-up, characterization, validation, and PCBA troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Experience with OrCAD/CAD tools and electronic simulation tools.
• Experience in analog, mixed-signal, and digital design, including ADCs, DACs, DC/DC converters, operational amplifiers, and sensors.
• Experience with low-noise analog design; instrumentation and high-voltage design experience is a plus.
• Experience with EE lab tools, bring-up, characterization, design validation, and PCBA troubleshooting.
• Experience completing the full PCB design cycle from schematics through layout to manufacturing.
• Understanding of electronic fundamentals, including signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC.
• Doctorate with 0 years of related experience, master's degree with 3 years of related experience, or bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
