Systems Integration and Test Engineer (RF)

Location: Woburn, MA office; travel required for off-site test activities. The position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Full-time salary range: $110,000–$140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and develop test software with domain experts, development teams, and systems engineers.
• Develop software scripts and procedures to verify the performance of complex multi-function RF processing algorithms.
• Perform subsystem- and system-level integration testing of firmware, software, hardware components, and assemblies.
• Execute system testing in software-in-the-loop environments and during field tests.
• Capture, analyze, and communicate test results and metrics to development teams.
• Assist with technical briefings and reviews, including SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMs, and TRRs.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing subsystem- and system-level integration and testing of software and/or hardware components.
• Proficiency in at least one of MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Experience developing in Linux environments, including Ubuntu and RHEL.
• Experience analyzing and post-processing test data using MATLAB, Python, or other software tools.
• Familiarity with automated test tools and techniques, containerized software, test plans and procedures, and system design packages.
• Familiarity with Agile systems engineering and tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GitLab.
• Ability to work as part of Systems and Software teams on RF-related programs supporting system- and mission-level integration and testing.

Nice to have

• Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience integrating RF sensor systems.
• Expertise in radar, electronic warfare, antenna apertures, sensor resource management, sea/air/space systems, large-scale platform test systems, cyber-physical systems, or open system architectures such as UCI, OMS, or COARPS.
• Proficiency in automated test tools and techniques and bash scripting.
• Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rational Rhapsody.
• Familiarity with software development for predefined publish/subscribe messaging architectures and government open architectures such as Open Mission Systems.
