Regional Commodity Manager (Procurement)

Location: Aalborg, Denmark; remote/flexible work is offered.

What you will do

• Drive regional procurement initiatives and implement global sourcing strategies across Northern Europe, particularly in Denmark.
• Develop and execute sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management activities.
• Analyze spend, supplier, and market data to identify savings opportunities and optimize supplier portfolios.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, regional procurement teams, global commodity managers, and the BPO partner to ensure supply continuity.
• Promote procurement governance and compliance, monitor supplier performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support category strategies for Office & Factory Supplies and contribute to procurement standardization, digitalization, and sustainable value creation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing within an international, matrix-based organization.
• Experience in indirect materials procurement and supplier management.
• Knowledge of procurement governance and buying channel strategies.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, combining strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
• Fluent English.
